SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance
New York prices are ending the week unchanged. Regional and California
are steady. The asking prices for next week's deliveries are trending
unchanged for all sizes. The undertone is steady to at times fully steady.
Offerings continue light to moderate. Supplies are light to fully adequate.
Retail demand is moderate to good. Food service demand in California is
moderate to good, elsewhere is very light to moderate. Market activity is
slow to moderate. Breaking stock offerings are mostly light for the moderate
to good demand. Spent hen offerings are more than sufficient for current
processing schedules.
